A million and more thank yous to dotcomkari. I posted yesterday that I needed a new blog makeover and asked for advice on who to go to that was reasonably priced to get one. Kari stepped in and told me she would love to do my makeover for me and to let her know what I was looking for and she would do it. Since I am not creative I had no idea what I was looking for, so I told her I loved pink, brown and green and left the rest of it up to her. She couldn’t sleep last night and it took her no time at all and she had my new makeover done and posted for me. What would have taken hours for me to do took her minutes I am so totally impressed, I love the colors, the designs and I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE that I have a signature now for all my posts woohoo
if you are interstead in having a design for yourself email Kari at
dotcomkari@yahoo.com for prices
or enter the blog makeover contests she hosts at her blog!!!
I encourage all my readers to please grab my new button as that will be the button I will be looking for on your blogs when you enter my giveaways from now forward, the ones already posted it is ok if you have my old button still.
Help for a fellow blogger

When I first started blogging I unfortunatly did not have too many places to go to help me get my feet planted firmly on the ground in the review and giveaway department. Honestly at this point I still do not feel firmly planted, but I do feel extremely fortunate that I have so many great followers and hope you will all continue to come back to me. It makes me smile, cause i am a sap, when I see one of you comment and I know I am not just writing to myself.
Recently a fellow blogger emailed me asking me for her help. You see she is just starting out in the world of giveaways and I want to assist her in planting her feet.
Hallie over at The (online) Nanny College Girl Diaries is currently having a giveaway for a really cute bracelet and a $5.00 gift certificate from an Etsy Store, I could tell you more but then you wouldn’t have to go there to read and enter to win. So please I encourage you all to head over there and enter, just don’t forget about me and keep coming back

I need a blog makeover

So my blog is in desperate need of a makeover. Can anyone recommend to me a good place to go to get a makeover done on my blog at a reasonable price? I could attempt to do it myself but I am so afraid I will mess things up that I really do not want to attempt it unless I absolutely cannot find something for a decent price. My birthday is coming up on Nov 23rd and depending on the cost I may be able to convince Lee to give me a bloggy makeover for my birthday.
Jawbone Prime Review

PRIME comes with a re-designed earbud that allows you to wear it without an earloop (the piece that goes over your ear). There is a total of 6 different earbuds in 3 sizes and 2 styles to ensure a perfect fit one regular earloop as well as a premium earloop which it a leather covered one in the box
The PRIME fit great without using the earloop but after wearing it for extended periods I found myself having to readjust it in my ear, after using it with the loop I find it so comfortable I hardly know it’s there.
The Sound quality is amazing. Jawbone uses a noise cancellation technology called NoiseAssassin and combined with the patented Voice Activity Sensor (VAS) to give you the cleanest sound from high and low frequencies by cancelling out things like wind and other background noise. This is the beggining of Jawbone’s journey to silencing wind.
Have a look at the demo to see it in action, it really is amazing technology.

Now on to my question:
I live in the north so it has generally snowed by now and will continue to be snowy through to April or May, but because this past year was so screwy and we had a crappy winter we may just have a green Christmas.

Cakes for Cubs

Yesterday the boys had their halloween party for cubs, they got to wear their costumes and bring treats. While there they bobbed for apples, had a hobos pinata (a large brown paper bag tied to a hockey stick that the leaders took turns holding rather then hanging it from the ceiling). Then they ran around and played, then had their treats. The boys had a blast and said it was so exciting and they could not wait until halloween to get more treats.
The boys each asked me to make something for cubs and they wanted to bring two treats instead of one, so I made cookies for one to bring and cake for the other. I am not by any means professional but had fun making them.
Kidorable Review & Giveaway – ENDED

In 1997, Kidorable sprung from the minds, hearts and efficiency apartment of Liping and Jonathan Domsky. They proclaimed, “The world needs someone to create children’s apparel and accessories that are both functional and fun. We can do that.”
And so Kidorable was conceived. Starting with lions and cats and bears, oh my, manifested as umbrellas and hangers, Kidorable generated enough sales during its first year to break even and plant fruitful Kidorable seeds throughout the land. The following year sales grew ten fold. Every year since, give or take, a new style and/or product line debuted. And every year, the world joyfully embraced more Kidorable delights, give or take, than the year before.
I am in total love with the products Kidorable has. The raincoats are adorable and the boots are perfect for any little puddle jumpers. We received the Polka Dots rain coat (rv $45.00) and rain boots (rv $34.00) inspired by the book by Madonna called The English Roses ($9.95) which you can also purchase on their site. The coat is made out of PVC and have a polyester lining and come in sizes from 2t all the way up to 11/12. The boots are made of natural rubber and are available in childs sizes 6-13 and young adult 1-6. There is also this great little umbrella that matches the set we got and is very affordable at $15.00 and is made of 100% nylon.
The quality of the coat is amazing, it feels soooo strong yet Maddisyn does not overheat when she is wearing the coat and we got a ton of compliments on the coat when we were out, I felt like a walking billboard for Kidorable haha and am considering putting a sign directing people to their website on Maddisyns back the next time we go out to save people time asking us where we got it because I know they will that is how cute it is.
Maddisyn loves her boots and wears them around the house all the time and I have never seen a child so excited to see the rain lol because when it rains she knows we are goign to go outside and play in the puddles in her new boots and she can splash and get all wet without me worrying about her ruining her shoes.
