Children’s Revolution – One stop GORGEOUS childrens shop

I told you all I had been sick recently which has really sucked, I have had zero energy to write posts beyond getting ready for next week and even then it would take me 6-8 hours per post because my brain was malfunctioning, then I would get a friend or Lee to read it and make sure I made complete sense. So in my down time AKA mush brain time I would “window” shop around in this great new store I found out about called Children’s Revolution. I found some pretty great stuff in the store that I either need or want (a matter of opinion, I need or want it and Lee says I don’t haha)
I could go on forever but I have to show you this one last thing and then you will have to go and get lost for hours browsing the store yourself.
How adorable is that, the toy box and Chandelier would look so great in Maddisyns room and the double stroller would make my life easier and my back hurt less. So now I am going to send you off on your way to explore Children’s Revolution all on your lonesome, feel free to come back and draw my attention to things you think I might be interested in because I think no matter how long I look I will miss stuff.
Children’s Revolution has also given me a code for you all to use when shopping in their store. Simply use the code “jabberingjessi” and receive 15% off your purchase. Children’s Revolution also right now has free shipping on all orders of $175 but there is no end date so I would not hesitate on making your purchase too long.
Oh one more thing before you go shopping, fan Children’s Revolution on Facebook and Follow them on Twitter.
I did not receive any products/monetary compensation in exchange for this post
I am sorry

I am not neglecting you all I promise, everyone in my house has been very sick, me included it seemed to hit us in waves and instead of everyone being sick at once we have spent the last two weeks with someone sick at least 2 days which means my attention goes to them first and my blog second. I quickly ran out of steam so I have not been able to really get anything posted for new content and contests here for you all because I have been busy trying to get all the great posts written for next week. I encourage you all just to hang tight I will be back full swing in no time at all and in the meantime we will be having some wonderful giveaways next week that I cannot wait to share with you all.

Temptation Thursday – Brought to you by Bake Me A Wish *ENDED*
April 29, 2010 by Jessi
Who wants cake? It’s Temptation Thursday and two of my friends and I are offering up many chances to win a cake of your choice from the fabulous online company, Bake Me a Wish!.
Ok so I can admit it I am a chocoholic, and a bad one at that who does not like to share and tries to keep the chocolate from all the people in my house haha. Now at this point Maddisyn and Holden are still pretty young so I try to curb the chocolate and the other two monkeys kids Chase and Blake really get so hyper on the chocolate they still have from Easter I am very reluctant to share on a normal day.
When my package came from Bake Me a Wish I was already drooling because I just knew it was going to be something super yummy inside. I was not overly sure exactly which delicious treat I was about to receive but in looking at the Bake Me a Wish website I knew that it was going to be so good I wouldn’t care at all that I did not pick it out. I mean think Cookies and Cream Cake, Magic Bar Brownie Cake, Red Velvet Chocolate, Tiramisu, Boston Cream Cake oh I could go on and on but Lee told me I had to stop drooling on my computer or he would take it away so you will just have to go on over to the Bake Me a Wish site and drool look around.
So anyways back to my package. When I received my box from the post office I couldn’t wait to tear into it, and what was waiting for me why a well packaged beautiful golden box with the bake
me a wish logo on top, oh how I wanted to sit and stare at that box for a long long time but I just knew I had to open it and see what delicious delights were inside. When I did I instantly started to salvate and then I started to wish it was not 9 am so I could actually try the cake right at that second, I have a strict no desserts before noon rule in my house and I knew I had to force myself to follow it. It was hard though because inside the beautiful golden box were four of the most yummy looking cakes I have ever seen. I had received the Chocolate Truffle Lava Cakes.
Now let me start out by saying I am not a truffle fan, something about it just I dunno but I was certainly willing to make an exception in this case it was afterall for the good of this review that I gobbled tasted these cakes. This is what Bake Me a Wish describes these cakes as “The 5-Star Dessert experience is just a click away! Our sinfully delectable Chocolate Truffle Lava Cakes arrive in packs of 4 and are ready to go into the oven or microwave upon arrival. After heating, each cake is a single-serve masterpiece with warm, thick chocolate cake, powdered sugar and a surprise inside – rich, liquid chocolate flows out of the middle for a taste experience beyond compare.”
So that night we got the kids tucked into bed and then once we were sure they were sound asleep because we didn’t want to share Lee got to work getting out and warming up our delicious treats. He warmed mine first making me the guinea pig in this case, or rather the pig as I heard him say, he mumbled the word guinea haha. The first bite my eyes rolled back in my head and that involuntary mmmmmm came out of my mouth. It was pure heaven, truffle or not it was so delicious. The cake was a great texture and consistency and the chocolate lava in the middle left me begging for more but knowing my hips were begging me not to eat more. We saved the other two and just ate them last night, I told Lee I thought they should be fresh in my mind, I was in truth just hoping he would forget about them so I could eat them all up haha. They were just as delicious last night as they were the first night we tried them. I hope this is the first of many times I get to share Bake Me a Wish with you, again my hips are begging for no more but my mouth says MORE!!! In the meantime I want to give one of you the chance to fall in love like I did and here is how.

Purina Maxx Scoop Small Spaces

I was recently contacted by Purina and invited to take part in their Small Spaces review group. We have a litter box for our cat in a not so convienent location simply because the only other place to put it is in our tiny bathroom and since space is limited in there when I tried to put the other box in it stuck out too far and we tripped on it all the time.
In participating in the Small Spaces review group I received the Cozy Corner Cat Litter Box, a Litter Mat (which I was unable to use because the bathroom is too small), a litter caddy and scoop which I have hanging on the edge of my toilet tank for each scooping access as well as some treats for our kitty and coupons to try the Purina Maxx Scoop Small Spaces Kitty Litter.
When the box arrived at our home I immediately went to work getting it setup in the bathroom for the cat and showing her where it was. This is a little different for her because it has a lid on it with a door and while the other litter box I received to review (post coming later) has the lid we have been unable to use it because it doesn’t fit properly anywhere with it on unfortunately. The Cozy Corner Cat Litter Box fit perfectly between my toilet and pedestal sink and while it does stick out some it does not protrude past the toilet so it is not a big deal. As I said earlier I did receive the litter mat but it simply will not fit in the space where the litter box is so I have it put away in hopes that I can someday use it in a larger space. The litter Caddy has been a godsend because I always know where the litter scoop is and don’t have to worry about my kids getting ahold of it.
Now as I previously mentioned I had a different litter box in this space before but my MAJOR complaint was the smell. I don’t live in a huge place so if the cat used the litter box the smell was not always pleasant and man can that little cat stink up the place. When I got the box I could not wait to go and get the litter for it so I sent Lee off to Walmart because I was home not feeling well. He came back with it and we opened it up and immediately I noticed it was not as dusty and choky as our previous litter was, I could not pour our previous litter
because it would send me into a coughing fit for at least 20 minutes. With this litter I still made Lee pour it for the first time just because I did not want to risk the coughing fit but he assured me that I would not have to worry about that and he was right. When the box needed changed I am the one who poured the new litter in and it did not bother me at all to do so, no coughing fits, no dust, no nothing that in itself gives this litter an A+ in my books. The Maxx Scoop Small spaces also takes care of that nasty odor I mentioned earlier and it both traps the nasty odors and has a nice smell to it — as nice as cat litter can smell of course.
I have recommended this to my friends and family and I for sure recommend it to you my readers, if you have cats and very little space then you should for sure try the Maxx Scoop Small Spaces Cat Litter.
Label Daddy Review
I find that I am mailing more and more things out lately, not sure what it is but I feel like I spend so much time on this computer that mailing a nice handwritten letter sometimes is very nice for both me to sit down and write and for my friends and family to receive.
I recently had the pleasure to work with Label Daddy. I received return address labels from them and while I would love to post a picture of the labels I received here I would rather not post my address for all to see so let me show you some other things from the website instead as well as tell you about Label Daddy.
The return address labels are perfect, I was able to go in and choose what color I wanted for my label, border, background, font, as well as what graphic I wanted to put onto my label. You can even have your label laminated for an additional $4.95 if you want to. My package of return address labels contained 85 labels so I know that they will last me for a long time because even though I have been mailing out more stuff I still don’t mail that much. The labels are not big and overbearing and were very easy and quick to design and order as well I received them very quickly.
Label Daddy does so much more then just return address labels and now I am thinking man I wish I would have gotten things for the kids sippy cups for when we are out because I am so tired of saying umm yeah I did buy that and I know for a fact that is our cup. All of Label Daddys labels are microwave safe, dishwasher safe and washer/dryer safe. You can label your kids clothes, cups, shoes, hats, sunscreen, waterbottles you name it, and since camping season is upon us I think that these would be perfect to ensure your child comes back with all of the stuff that you sent that belongs to him.
Label Daddy has a camp pack which contains 152 laminated labels for $50.00 camp pack includes: (6 different sizes) 4 luggage bag labels, 60 extra small labels, 40 small labels, 16 medium labels, 10 shoe labels, and 22 mini-shoe labels.
There is also a school pack which contains 132 labels plus 4 zipper tags for $40.00 in 7 different sizes. School pack includes: 1 Bag Tag, 45 Extra Small, 30 Small, 20 Medium, 10 Large, 18 Mini shoe labels, 8 Shoe, and 4 Zipper Tags.
You can get your label in your favorite Disney characters including Winnie the Pooh, Princess and the Frog, Jonas Brothers, Hanna Montana and so much more, you can visit the Label Daddy website and create your own labels to see exactly what characters are available.

So picture the Seven dwarfs smiling and walking swinging their mining tools. Ok got that great picture in your head? Good now picture me, not smiling or singing or being happy at all. Yup there ya go that is more like it, now your getting it.
I have been off work since January 5, 2009 and am very sad to say that my maternity leave is over and I am returning to work this Sunday will be my first shift back. I was off for over a year and got to enjoy every minute of my little boys first year so I am not complaining much really I just wish that I could stay home with him forever instead of having to return to the grind. Maybe my blog will start to make me the big bucks, ha a girl can dream, or I will find meet and marry a man for his money because I would love him more then my current husband
. Just joking on all fronts of course I love my husband and the support he provides me but that is for another post and I may just post it today sometime we will see how productive I feel as I do have some other giveaways I want to get posted for you all.
If I could blog full time I totally would, maybe in a couple of years when I get better or my husband gets paid more whichever comes first.
