Boon Flair Highchair Review & Giveaway

When Maddisyn was born I fell in total love with the Flair Highchair by Boon.  I thought it was the greatest looking highchair in the world, but I could not find it in the color I wanted at the time which was the pink/white so we went with another pink highchair for her.  When Holden was born I knew that the pink highchair was not going to cut it for us and we needed a new chair but that I had time to hold off and not get one immediately.  As he grew older I knew I needed to get him a highchair and I was lucky enough to be able to work with Boon on a review of the Flair Highchair in blue/white.  I love this chair so much it is awesome it is very lightweight so I am able to take it places with me and it fits nicely into the back of my van even with all our other gear so I know Holden always has a place to eat.

It has a pneumatic lift much like a barber chair so it raises and lowers quite easily.  It has a seamless seat so I don’t have to worry about food getting stuck down in the cracks of the chair.  Probably one of my favorite things is that the straps come out of it so easily so I can wash them off in the sink while I am washing the rest of the chair parts down if my dishwasher is full.  The tray is very easy to use simply by sliding the little switch and squeezing the handle it comes on and off and is dishwasher safe as are the two plastic tray liners you receive with the chair to put on the tray and that way if you have something messy like spaghetti you just take off the liner and the tray is clean for dessert, snacks or playtime.

This chair is awesome for mobility as well, so good in fact if I forget to put the brakes on while Holden is in it he can rock it across the floor sometimes on me.  Maddisyn also likes to give him rides around in his highchair which is cute since just a few months ago she wanted nothing to do with him at all.  Speaking of Maddisyn there has been a time or two where she has also used this highchair when we are out and need somewhere for her to be able to sit.

The seat is hard molded plastic so there is no cracks for food to mold in which is a for sure plus with me because somehow food always ends up underneath Holdens butt lol.  To adjust the height on this you simply step on the orange (or pink) button on the base and pull up or push down on the chair depending on the direction you need it to go.  It goes fairly low so would fit under tables if you little one prefers to eat right off the table rather then the tray, Holden still dumps his food out so we for sure are not there yet lol.

I also want to make a quite note that after having this chair for a couple of weeks I noticed that the tray seemed to be separating from itself, I contact Boon and they promptly sent me out a new tray in no time at all.  Kudos to Boon and their amazing customer service.
