Bosch has recently introduced a new wiper blade that I can honestly say I am excited to give a try on my van. The ICON wiper blades are bracketless wipers designed without metal or plastic brackets, joints or hinges, which means they’re an improvement over conventional wiper blades. They have windshield hugging technology which to me means that they will work hard to keep my windshield clear without skipping spots like my current blades do. They have a exclusive weather shield connector system which protects from snow and ice buildup and since I live in the north I know snow and ice buildup on your wipers can suck big time especially first thing in the morning.
To celebrate their release, Bosch is holding a contest where one lucky Facebook fan will win an experience of a lifetime: an all-expenses-paid, five-night VIP Storm Chasing trip for you and a guest, with Reed Timmer of Discovery Channel’s STORMCHASERS.

I’ve been in situations with bad weather where substandard wiper blades are ineffective. I will tell you from personal experience that a huge mud splat from a big truck on your windshield on the freeway can be very scary when your wipers aren’t working well. Always make great wipers a priority!

I think these would be good for me because we tend to go through a lot of regular cheaper blades so it would be nice to be able to assess the quality of these!

I think these are worth trying. It sounds like they’re an improvement over the blades I currently have. My pet peeve is the spots they miss, especially when it’s snowing.

The significant other is from Ohio and I would gift these wipers to him because he drives in some pretty crazy weather that I would never DARE drive in. In his mind the Icon are the best wipers on the market, and you can never be too safe when driving esp with loved one in the vehicles

my wiper blades suck. i just got them a few months ago and need to replace them already. i would put these wipers and the gift pack to really good use.
