I was recently invited to become a Mattel Disney Insider, I did back flips in the living room and was so excited for this opportunity. My kids are huge fans of any toys but I love Disney Mattel toys because they represent all our favorite movies I think.
Our first mission, if we chose to accept it, which we did was to “Blast Off Into Space with the To Infinity and Beyond Toy Story Space Toy Line by Mattel”.
The Buzz Lightyear Spaceship Command Center is awesome with its lights, sounds, phrases that go off when the command center is opened or closed. It even has a voice PA amplifier that allowed the kids to give their own commands. Inside of the spaceship there is a Mission Control Launch Deck, Prison Chamber and Observation Deck. While it does not come with any figures you can purchase Woody, Rex, Buzz, Zurg and the Zurgbot separately for $10.99 each. Buzz and Woody each come with their own spacesuit, helmet and blaster. Rex has a helmet and spacesuit with claw-like hands and Zurg has a space cannon while the Zurgbot comes with two extra bots for backup.
We first watched a short video and then were supposed to make our own Toymaton story, since my kids are 2 and 4 this proved to be more challenging then I thought but we finally got a super short one put together.

OH NO!!! The evil Zurg has Woody I am sure of it!

We came up with this…
Rex somehow got to the top of the chest in the bedroom, but he’s too scared to jump down. So, Woody and Buzz pull open the sock drawer to try to get up higher, but the socks come to life and become monsters!! They have to zap all of the socks in order to get to Rex! They win, and safely get Rex back down.

Zurg has our heros, Buzz, Woody and Rex cornered… then the evil dust bunnies startle Rex who turns suddenly … and his tail knocks over a stack of boxes … which go flying and knocks out Zurg. Our heros are saved.
