I have known about the Contours Bliss 4-in-1 Baby Stroller System and been very anxiously awaiting its arrival to me for months now. I marveled at the features before I even had a chance to test them out and absolutely couldn’t wait. Now that Kinley is over a year old I was a bit bummed that maybe this stroller wasn’t going to be right for us when we got it but I was very wrong.
The actual assembly was very easy for the Contours Bliss I just had to slide the metal axel bar in and attach the back tires then snap on the front tires and put the bar on and we were good to go. I assembled it at about midnight knowing I was going to need it the next day for our local parade/city festival.
The one thing that I desired the most about this stroller was all the different positions that the seat can be used in. It can forward face, face you, has three recline positions and even turns into a pram so that your baby can lay flat. Now I have had a stroller that has done this before. But to do the switch I had to remove the baby, lay the stroller down, move the sunshade, add in extra pieces it was quite the process and took me a while to do it and was not good if the baby was already sleeping. With the Bliss I simply drop down the support bar on the back, recline the stroller all the way, squeeze a button to lay the foot of it down and voila my baby is laying down and I can do it while she sleeps. I know it sounds confusing just watch the video and it will show how to do it all 🙂
The Bliss on top of being the pram comes with an adapter that you put on in place of the seat and you can put a car seat on it and while we are passed that stage at this point I did have another contours stroller that did this when we were in an infant car seat and it was a life saver so I didn’t have to take the baby out of her seat but could get the most use out of the stroller. For a list of the compatible car seats please visit the information page for the Contours Bliss 4-in-1 Baby Stroller System.
I know I said it was a 4-in-1 system but have only told you about the three ways: pram, seat, car seat carrier and baby stroller. Want to know the fourth? It is one of the things I was super excited about, the seat becomes a CARRY COT so you can actually use it off the stroller. Just imagine a trip to Grandmas without having to haul a stroller AND bed for your baby now you can just take your stroller and voila you are good to go with a bed and a stroll about system how awesome is that!
The bliss stroller comes with a parent cupholder that attaches to the side of the stroller. Just be aware this is for bottles of water/cold drinks not for coffee as when the seat is turned to face parents the baby can reach it and in my case takes it over putting her own bottle or soother into it. It also features a foot muff that snaps on as easy as 1-2-3 it goes around the bar and snaps, then it snaps to the side of the stroller. This was perfect for us this past weekend because it was colder so I was able to convert the stroller into a pran and put the foot muff over her to keep her warm.
The Contours Bliss 4-in-1 Baby Stroller System is an amazing stroller I am very blessed to have the opportunity to review. The seat sits very high up making the basket extremely easy to access and this weekend it stored a blanket (big twin sized one), a diaper bag, sweaters and pants for 4 kids and 2 adults and still had room to spare to carry 5 bags of cotton candy and a box of popcorn. I wish I had taken a picture to show you I was very impressed. One of the issues Lee and I have sometimes with a stroller is that the handle is too short and we find ourselves stooping to push the stroller or if we find one we can push comfortably our shorter mothers and even other kids cannot push the stroller. With the Bliss’s adjustable handle now we can all push comfortably I think I can finally get rid of my 5 strollers and make this my go to stroller.
If your looking for a stroller to use from birth to no stroller, that pushes like a dream, can be a bed or a seat with very little effort, and has ample storage space then look no further then the Contours Bliss 4-in-1 Baby Stroller System. The price tag on this system is $399.99 and it is worth every penny. It comes in two different patterns the Valencia which I have and have pictured throughout this post and also WIL (stock photo below). For a complete list of retailers you can buy this from both online and in store please visit the Contours Bliss 4-in-1 Baby Stroller System information webpage on Kolcraft.com
Contours has made this cute video showing you all the features of the Bliss stroller.
I was asked to tell you all what my bliss is. For me my Bliss is being with my family, we are very outdoorsy type of family so our biggest bliss is a trip to the beach, going to four wheeling, going to camp or just going on a nature walk with the kiddos. I put this stroller to the full test with our outdoorsy family walking and we spent 12 hours outside walking and not once did I think gee this stroller is terrible to push through grass or sand. Nor did I find it too heavy to push around for that long. I would say that I have found my ultimate bliss, time with my family and a stroller that allows us to comfortably bring Kinley with us while doing so.
Here is my video review of the Bliss Stroller. One thing to note is that I did not take the pram part off to show you how it could be used as a carrycot and I apologize. I had to shoot the video inside because it has been raining here for three days and I have not been able to get outside and for that I apologize.
