Contours Options 3-Wheeler Stroller Review & Giveaway

When I got pregnant with Kinley and then found out it was a girl I knew that I wanted everything as girly as I possibly could get it.  Pink, purple, and white yes please but please throw in some brown and black to balance it out.  As you can see from my past reviews of stuff like bedding etc. her room has been done in an adorable pink, black and white theme.  Her car seat is pink and brown, her Contours Classique™ 3-in-1 Bassinet is pink but what I was really lacking was a pink stroller and I was a bit sad about it.  Then Contours sent us the Contours Options 3-wheeler stroller and it came in a color they call Blush and I call perfect for a baby girl.

My friend Jen is my resident stroller assembler and so she put the stroller together for me with ease.  It took all of 5 minutes to assemble which is my favorite kind of assembly where the instructions are clear and the actual putting together is not complicated.

The Contours Options 3-Wheeler Stroller from Contours Baby is great because you can get it in two colors the Blush that I received or a red and black option (Berkeley).  The first time we used the stroller for Kinley was on Canada day so she was only 6 days old at the time but because of the recline I was very comfortable using it.  The stroller reclines from 90 degrees to 45 degrees to full recline but beyond that I was also able to turn the seat around so that it could face me and I could see exactly what Kinley was doing the entire time.  Add to that the infant headrest that keeps her little head cushioned but I can remove when she grows and this is the perfect stroller for a newborn.  I loved being able to see her and not having to stop to check on her constantly but I also like that depending on which way I am walking I can turn her so the sun is not shining directly on her if necessary.

With the infant car seat adapter for the Contours Options 3-Wheeler Stroller you can use a wide range of infant car seats with the Contours Options 3-Wheeler Stroller.  Unfortunately we have a Baby Trend Flex-Loc seat and it is not an option with this adapter so I did not get any of my own actual pictures with it.  For a full list of what car seats are compatible you can visit the Contours Baby page and check out the specs of the stroller, the list is actually quite extensive I just have a rare one that is not compatible.

The fact that this stroller is three wheels makes it look more sleek and neat to me.  The front wheel is 8″ while the back ones are 12″ and it provides a smooth comfortable ride for Kinley, she barely moved when I drove it over the grass at the fireworks.  The cup holders on this stroller are awesome, the parents ones are very deep and are ventilated which allows your drink to not heat up as fast but as well if drinks spill it does go right through which helps prevent icky sticky cup holder syndrome (totally not a technically term nor a term endorsed by Contours Baby but one we use).  In the picture of Kinley above you can see that is it missing the bar in front of the child, there is one but because Kinley is so little I didn’t feel the need to have it on the stroller just yet but once she is ready she will have the stroller bar with her own cup holder to hold her little sippy cups.

The storage basket underneath the Contours Options 3-Wheeler Stroller held enough sweaters, blankets, purses and diaper bags for 1 infant, 4 kids, 3 women and 2 men which was a whole lot of stuff, kudos to Contours Baby for the huge storage space I love it.  Folding this stroller up is as easy as pulling the two triggers on the side and it folds right up and stands on it’s own.

All in all I would say that this stroller offers to me everything I could possibly want to see in a stroller, the only thing I would have liked it that it was compatible with my car seat (but not the end of the world that it is not) and that the children had actual snack tray to hold their cheerios.  Really those are not complaints because it does not affect the functionality of the stroller.

The Contours Options 3-Wheeler Stroller is available from great retailers such as Amazon.com, Walmart, Target, Overstock and more for $169.99

Drooling over this stroller yet?  Good one of my lucky readers is going to get one of their very own in the color of your choice.
