Easy Lunchboxes Review

Every year it’s the same thing at back to school time, the hunt for DECENT lunch bags/boxes.

Seems like every year we’re looking for a new lunch bag, sometimes even part way through the year. Zippers start letting go or getting stuck on the vinyl liner, the cheaper vinyl liner starts cracking and the foam comes out, containers leak and stain the insides, all kinds of reasons.

This time I went on the hunt for something that looked to be made better and might withstand the torture they go through as well as a way to stop the containers from leaking without having big containers with screw on lids and stuff to make sure they still fit in the lunch bag.

That’s when I found Easy Lunchboxes the Compartmentalized BPA-Free Plastic Food Storage Containers have 3 compartments and a plastic lid that fits over each compartment to keep foods separate.  The lids don’t fit super tight so they are easy for kids to open by themselves and if kept upright in the lunch bag they don’t leak or spillover, Chase and Blake have brought sandwiches and applesauce, veggies and dip, nachos and homemade salsa, and they have always stayed put in the compartments they started in. Now the kids are easily bringing waste-free healthy lunches and best of all they’re Dishwasher safe and microwaveable!  The food storage containers cost $13.95 but come with four bottoms and four colorful lids so they are well worth the cost and I actually intend on buying another set for me to carry snacks for the two little ones as soon as they are back in stock.

The Lunch Bag coolers are great too and costing only $7.95 they are a steal of a deal.  They’re the perfect fit for the food containers so they help keep them from bouncing around and getting damaged as we’ll as helping in keeping the upright to avoid spills and leaks. the zipper opens smoothly and doesn’t appear as though it will catch the vinyl liner at all and they keep they kids lunches cool no problem. The Bags are also very easy to clean, just a simple wipe with a warm damp cloth usually does the trick but for those occasions when they forget them at school over the weekend with a half eaten lunch in them you can remove odors from a lunch bag by placing inside a plate w/a slice of bread that has been soaked in white distilled vinegar. Zip and leave overnight. and for the spills and big messes the bags are also washing machine safe!

Looking for some new ideas for lunches? I know I always am, my kids get tired of most things easily, they never want sandwiches of any kinds anymore so this section of easylunhboxes.com is great for us and i thought I would share it with you all as well just check out the neat ideas section of the Easy Lunchboxes website.

As of this writing on September 20th Easy Lunchboxes was sold out of the container sets because they were such a popular item, which I totally can understand as I said I will be buying another set myself.  So if you place your order now they will throw in a free cooler bag when the containers come back into stock which they are anticipating to be around mid-October, I will be patient, order now and wait!!!

I received the opportunity to review this lunchbox system from Easy Lunchboxes for both of my boys from Mom Spark Media.

I love mine too, so much that I decided to become an affiliate, so if you want another set, I’d be thrilled if your ordered via the button on my blog site:-) (Written shamelessly, with a sly smile on my face.) LOL
