Family Facts Giveaway

In November I had the chance to work with Family Facts and do a review of the On-The-Go Organizer which I still use everyday and am lost with it.  You can go and read that review HERE.

I recently was approached by Pam to work with her again.  This time she wanted to work with me on the 2010 Family Activity Wall Calendar.  We are a busy family and since the On-The-Go Organizer is such a key part of my life I decided to go ahead with the review and wow am I ever glad that we did.  It has helped me keep events straight for each kid as well as Lee and I, if the boys have birthday parties or cub meetings or swimming events or school stuff I was always getting it all jumbled in my head and always felt like I was spinning out of control with the organizing and remembering.  Now with the wall calendar as long as I write it down there is no more worries for me or for the kids because they can go and read the calendar each night before bed and know what they have to do if anything the next morning.

Each calendar has 5 sections on each date.  Across the bottom are the same 5 sections each one color coded the same as in the calendar pages.  You write a persons name in each color and then you can write their activity in the corresponding spot on the calendar pages.  There are dry erase flip outs in the back of the calendar to write down contacts and reminders that you might need as well as a large sheet of stickers for different events that you can stick to your calendar.  There is a large pocket to store important papers like school notes etc that you may want to keep so that you have all the information at the tip of your fingers.  I know for us personally hanging the calendar is a challenge because of the lack of wall space to put a nail into.  The Calendar comes with a strip of velcro for easy on-off the walls.  This has been a lifesaver for us and I will continue to use it and buy another one next year to help keep us organized, especially since the calendar only costs $12.95 and I would spend that on the 2 or 3 I would normally need to keep semi organized.

Family Facts has sent me a Calendar to giveaway to one of my readers.

Tell me how you keep your family organized.

We have a photo calendar in the kitchen which I use to keep us organized. But sometimes there isn’t enough room to write everything down and I have to paperclip appointment cards to the calendar. The Family Facts calendar looks like it would make life a little easier.

I recently started using a large dry erase wall calendar and use a different colored pen for each family members activities. and there are a lot of acitivities with 3 kids and a husband who is coming and going on business trips!! in the bottom of the box for each day, i make out our dinner menus a week at a time.

this has been great, but I still have to transfer the info to a purse calendar to carry with me for making appts, etc to know who is where.

Than you for the information. We have been going crazy trying to find a system that works for our whole family. I recently logged on to a site called and fell in LOVE!! It enable my whole family to access the calendar and add to it. They can also add something on the ToDo list and then make sure a text message gets sent to the right person or people! It rocks!! Oh – and it is FREE! BONUS:-) I would love to see a review from you about this site. I think it can benefit a ton of people.
