School uniform provider French Toast announced on May 3rd the launch of a $15,000 contest designed to encourage children to show their individuality and what makes them special and unique in their school uniforms. Children are encouraged to send in videos or essays with pictures – showing them clad in their uniforms – that illustrate and describe why they are exceptional. The grand prize is $10,000 in cash, plus a donation of $5,000 in French Toast school uniform vouchers to the winning student’s school.
The contest, which is open to all uniform-wearing children, started May 3rd and will run through September 15th. On November 1, French Toast will be posting the top 10 submissions online at www.uinuniform.com to let the public vote on which entry is the best. In addition to the grand prize winner, there will be runners-up prizes as well. The grand prize winner will be announced on or around November 30.
Video submissions – which must include some footage of the student in his/her school uniform – can be a maximum of two minutes in length. Essays can be a maximum of 300 words and must be accompanied by at least one picture of the child in uniform (maximum of six pictures). To learn more about the contest and to enter, log on to www.uinuniform.com.
