As you all know from my posts with Holden and even some posts with Kinley we are very SIDS aware in our household. Kinley sleeps next to my bed in a co-sleeper, we have fans running our room, she sleeps with a pacifier and most importantly she sleeps with no blankets. Following all these rules to try to prevent SIDS is something we are very careful on and train our other kids on at a very early age to ensure they do not attempt to cover Kinley up to be “helpful”.
Now our house can get cool at night since Lee and I prefer the fans and even a window open sometimes so it is necessary to have something for warmth for the baby. We choose to use Halo SleepSacks for this purpose. When Holden was little I don’t think I knew about the Halo swaddle blanket but I for sure did know about the sleep sack. We now have a Halo SleepSack Swaddle from Pottery Barn Kids from the new fall styles and let me tell you not only is it the cutest thing ever but next to the actual sleep sack it is the best invention ever. Now Kinley really prefers to have her arms out so that she can sleep with them beside her head which is fine for us as long as she is comfortable so at first I wondered if I could even use the Halo SleepSack Swaddle but then I read the directions and you can actually keep their arms out of the swaddle so they can be comfortable if that is how they choose to sleep.
Look at how cute she is and how comfy, this is honestly her favorite sleep sack out of all the ones we have, I think it may be the closeness of the swaddle panel that makes her super cozy.
The Halo SleepSack Swaddle from Pottery Barn Kids is available in three new super adorable patterns.
We received the pink birds one and it is so cute as you can see from the above picture. It is available in sizes newborn which is good for babies 0-3 months, 6-12 pounds or small 3-6 months, 13-18 pounds. It has a front zipper closure that goes from the top to the bottom so that there is no zipper in your baby’s faces while they are trying to sleep. The inverted zipper also makes changing diapers a flash since you can quickly unzip it a bit, pop their bottom half out and change them, I find this helps keep Kinley asleep. It is made out of pure organic cotton which I love, we have been becoming more and more organic in our house and the biggest thing we love is the clothing you can get and how comfortable and just soft it feels.
I think that Halo SleepSacks and Sleep Sack Swaddles would make the perfect baby shower gift for anyone and these ones are available from Pottery Barn Kids for $39.50. If you know the gender of the baby already for an additional $7.00 you can personalize it with the name which would be super cute.
I have the chance to give one of my readers a Halo SleepSack Swaddle from Pottery Barn Kids. Due to limited supply the winner may be unable to choose color but I assure you they are all cute.
This post was brought to you by our friends at Halo. We received the SleepSack Swaddle for review, all opinions expressed are our own.
