If you won from me in the past

but did not receive your prize please do not assume that I know that you have not gotten it yet or why.  I do not generally mail out the prizes for the giveaways and as such have no idea if/when they are mailed.  So please instead of getting upset and posting random stuff on other boards about me and my blog how about you come to me first and send me an email letting me know when you won, what you won and that you have not yet received your prize.

Remember a company has 6-8 weeks before I can act on them not shipping the prize anyhow but at that time frame I will certainly do all I can to get your prize to you as well as warn other bloggers that working with that company is not so good.

    Have people really been leaving negative comments elsewhere and on your blog without even contacting you first?! That is terrible. I haven't had any trouble with that. I have certainly had readers contact me that they haven't received a prize but I'm surprised to hear of the negativity! Sorry to hear that!-Sarah

    I've never had any problem receiving anything won on your blog, but of course I would contact you first if there was an issue. I can't believe someone would not contact you and instead talk negatively. I actually won a prize on another blog and contacted her very nicely and she responded with a very sassy response and nothing else…She won't respond to any of my emails, comments, or twitters and is completely unprofessional and immature. I was very kind when I contacted her but wow I was shocked with the response. I don't know what else to do, but I think her sponsor should know she is not sending out the $100 gift card I won. I wonder if she is keeping any other prizes? In contrast, I LOVE your blog and your kindness and professionalism.

    If the blogger won't respond to you then go to the sponsor and let them know that you have not received your prize I work very hard to make my blog what it is and I would not ever dream of not answering someone when they email me over a prize or any other concern for that matter.

    Some people just don't realize the process. They don't realize that most blogger are not shipping the prizes and we have no idea if they got the prize. I recently won a price and I didn't follow the process in the email to cc to the sponsor. First time asked to do that and didn't realize that. I contacted the blog owner and she help me find out, most all blog owners will go way out of their way to help. That's why mom bloggers are the best. Keep up the good work and love your blog.

    I agree with your post. So far, I've been lucky in companies holding up to their end of the deal. Although, at times, I've had to send friendly email reminders to send out their prizes. As for me winning, I've always contacted the blogger first to see if they can get a hold of the sponsor again. It's not the blogger's fault most of the time.I did have one where I received a google alert and found out I had won something. I tried contacting the blogger numerous times and have never gotten an answer. I've finally given up.Keep up the great work with your blog.
