Kinley is Coming: Personal Baby Assistant Review & Giveaway (US & Canada)

When I had Holden I was really worried about being able to keep track of everything he did while trying to track three other kids.  This time I need to track everything Kinley does while trying to keep track of my four other kids.  With Holden I had a basic timer that showed when they were fed, changed and put to sleep but that was it.  It wasn’t amazing but it worked for what I needed it for.

I knew with Kinley I wanted something so much more and when I came across the Personal Baby Assistant I knew that I just had to have it.  This thing is the mack daddy of all tracking devices.  While I have not actually used it yet with a baby I have been playing with it to get used to all of it and how it works so when Kinley comes I will be pro at it.

The Personal Baby Assistant tracks feedings from both breast and bottle, you can tell it how many ounces you fed if it is bottle or what side you are feeding on and it times to show how long the baby fed if it is on breast.  It can also track your pumping and you can track how much you get out of each breast while pumping.  It keeps track of sleeping, diaper changes in detail, temperature and growth.  Each time you visit the doctor you can input weight and height etc. so you always have a record of that.  I think my favorite feature is that I can input medicine so if Kinley is needing any such as ibuprofen, tylenol, antibiotic or anything else then I can put in the dosage and because the machine already has the date and time set it automatically records that.  So if I run out and Lee is unsure he can just refer to the Personal Baby Assistant to find out when she last had medicine.

At the end of each day or whenever I want I can connect it to my computer and upload the data to my personal account on PBA then I can see everything online with a chart and get detailed results on the feeding, sleeping, medicine etc.

The Personal Baby Assistant can track two babies at once, as you can see in the top corner of the chart above it has Kinleys name, you can personalize it and add a second bay to make it easier to know what is going on especially when you are sleep deprived.  With the online account you can even add important milestones like when baby smiles, sleeps through the night, crawls, claps, rolls over and so very many more.  Once you are done you can share the important stuff with your friends and family or print out the charts to bring and show your doctor.

All in all I would say this is one thing I would not want to be without and I intend on packing this in my hospital bag and taking it with me to the hospital and starting to use it right from birth on.  It is small enough to be portable but not to worry about losing it and it has a belt clip so I can keep it attached to me all the time.

The Personal Baby Assistant is available from great retailers such as Walmart for $59.95.
