Sandwiches are like edible works of art. And like art, everyone has their preference about the creation. Some sandwich enthusiasts would say how you layer individual ingredients has a big effect on the taste. Others are sticklers for nostalgia and comfort, using mom’s tried-and-true recipes. The possibilities are endless when it comes to making the perfect sandwich.
Kraft put forth a challenge for me to talk to you all about your Ultimate Sandwich. I will be the first to admit that I prefer my sandwiches toasted or grilled as opposed to just the uncooked bread, I always find bread no matter how fresh seems a little stale for my tastes. So for me my ultimate sandwich is a ham and cheese sandwich on toasted bread with some miracle whip, mustard and lettuce. I am getting rather bored with this sandwich though and think it is time to make a new one, I hope you will help me.
I am not a fan of tomato but I do love a bruschetta style bread and Kraft shared their Turkey Bruschetta Panini with me in the challenge to find the perfect sandwich and it looks so good I am considering running out to get the ingredients to make one of these for me. I do not have a panini press right now but thankfully Kraft has thought of people like me and includes in their tips a way to make this sandwich without one.
What You Need
2 slices Italian bread4 slices OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Shaved Cracked Black Pepper Turkey Breast1 KRAFT Mozzarella Cheese Slice2 fresh basil leaves2 thin tomato slices1 Tbsp. KRAFT Mayo with Olive Oil Reduced Fat MayonnaiseMake It
HEAT panini grill to medium heat.
FILL bread slices with turkey, cheese, basil and tomatoes.
SPREAD outside of sandwich with mayo.
GRILL 3 min.or until golden brown.
Kraft Kitchens Tips
If You Don’t Have a Panini GrillHeat skillet on medium heat. Cook sandwich 5 min. on each side or until cheese is melted and sandwich is golden brown on both sides, gently pressing down top of sandwich with a spatula to flatten slightly as it cooks.SubstituteSubstitute 2 tsp. KRAFT Tuscan House Italian Dressing and Marinade for the mayo.Take AlongIf packing for a brown-bag lunch, spread mayo on inside of sandwich and serve cold.
So while I do intend on trying the above recipe, I will chop the tomato to make it more like the bruschetta I am used to I am still on my ultimate sandwich search because I am so picky that while it looks delicious it may not be for me. Here is where I want you all to help me with my sandwich search. After entering the giveaway please feel free to go and share your recipe on the Kraft facebook fanpage, I will also be sharing some of my favorite ones I see here on that page.

Kraft is going to give one of my lucky readers (and me) a Breville Panini Duo Sandwich Press (pictured above) to create the ultimate sandwich.

My ulitimate sandwich is a corned beef special. I start with a good, hearty rye bread. Then you spread some thousand island dressing on the bread follwed by coleslaw. Put corned beef on other half and top with swiss cheese. Combine to halves and enjoy.
I slice homemade bread, thinly slice the pork roast, add both aged cheddar and montery jack cheese, slice tomatoes and red onion, put on some spinach, and put homemade thousand island dressing on the bread. Then, I enjoy eating it.

First of all I use either 100% Whole Wheat Bread or a whole grain bread and put a little honey mustard on both sides. Then I use an Aged Swiss Cheese (preferably Kraft) and out a slice on both sides. Then I pile on the Sara Lee Maple Ham and press it together before putting it into a frying pan and grilling it on both sides. Then I enjoy because it is so GOOD! Thanks so much for hosting this great giveaway!

1. Grab 2 slices of whole wheat bread, natural turkey slices, provolone cheese, avocado, turkey bacon (already cooked)
2. Place turkey, cheese, bacon, & avocado layered on one slice of bread and top with the other,
3. Use a panini press (or if you are like me and don’t have one) place in a warm skillet and carefully flip until cheese is melted and bread toasted
