I hate germs, I have issues with kids putting toys in their mouths and then my kids touching them or kids having their fingers/hands in their mouth then touching the toys my kids play with, in the same sense I hate when my kids do that and am very careful to pay attention to what goes in their mouth especially when they are not fully vaccinated. What I never really considered before was how many germs were in our own home, in our bathroom, in our space where we brush our teeth.
While I was at the Housewares show I had the great pleasure of talking with the people behind Violight and I learned quite a bit of information from them about the germs that we live with and the ways we can prevent them. I love the Vio100 Countertop toothbrush Sanitizer it fits all of the variety of toothbrushes we have in our house, Lee and I use normal ones, the kids use electric ones and of course Maddisyn and Holden have their tiny baby ones. When selecting I was concerned that they would not all fit into the holder but I was very very happy to find out that it would work for us all and best of all I know that the kids and us have clean toothbrushes that are not putting germs into our mouths. The boys fight over who gets to use our cute little Zapi, this one runs on 3 AAA batteries so is portable and believe it or not I am so anal now we actually took turns using this before brushing out teeth one night when the power was out here at our house. This one has a lifetime bulb so no worries about me having to replace the batteries to ensure it continues to work properly.
