I mop/clean water off my floor at least five times a day. It is not because I have over flowed the sink, nor is it because my kids spilled it out of a cup. Nope those are normal messes and my family well isn’t normal haha. Instead I clean up water because Holden and Maddisyn are playing in the dog’s water dish, someone kicks the water dish or my personal favorite Holley the horse dog comes running up and does not stop in time and slides into the water dish. It is an annoying part of my daily life, or rather it was. Now with the Neater Feeder I clean up water very little and only because the little ones have actually picked the water dish up to bring it to me because I always want to have the dogs water dish on my lap I guess haha.
The neater feeder is the most amazing invention for pet owners. Not only does it hold water spills but it will also hold any spilled food if your dog is a pig like mine and gets food everywhere before she empties her bowl. Before she was able to dig in her food with her nose and tongue and food would go everywhere, if it went behind her bowl or something then it was left for me to clean, now I don’t have to worry about that she can eat every morsel and I have no mess to clean.
The picture above shows how the neater feeder works. It is four separate pieces if you count the two bowls. The food is caught in the top half, the water can go through the holes into the bottom layer for easy emptying.
The Neater Feeder is available in four different sizes cat, small, medium and large. We went with the large one for Holley and Whitley to share together and I am glad that we did for Holley’s sake. I was slightly concerned though about Holley bending that low to eat because she is such a tall dog so I requested the leg extensions for it. I am glad that I did because it makes it very easy for Holley to eat but it also meant it was too tall for Whitley. I am OK with that though because they do eat in different areas and so we gave the one I received for review to Holley and are so in love with it that we will be buying Whitley the small Neater Feeder with leg extensions for him.
