Maddisyn and Holden love to pretend to be super heroes, they run around the house with towels, blankets or bedsheets tied around their neck yelling super girl or other super hero type names.  I think it is adorable but am not a huge fan of the towel look.  PowerCapes provides a solution to that with their super adorable capes.

First and foremost I have to say that I loved that I could design the cape myself or rather ourselves since Maddisyn helped.  We got to pick out the cape size and color.  Then we moved on to choose the emblem and color we wanted on the cape and finally we picked the letter we wanted and what color we wanted it in.  The process was very simple on their website with simple clicks changing the looks so you could preview and see exactly what you are getting.  Despite actually seeing and knowing when we ordered I was totally surprised with just how awesome the cape looked when it arrived here at our house.

Since we just received this I honestly cannot say it will hold up for years of play but I can tell you that from what I am seeing regarding the stitching and quality I firmly believe that Maddisyn will outgrow her super hero cape before it is no longer playable.  I actually have to order one for Holden now because they fight over the cape so much and he is just under 2, perhaps for his second birthday that is what he will get from us.

The cape is a very shiny material, looks gorgeous in the pink Maddisyn chose.  It is made of a satin that makes it so light that it just flies behind her while she runs around.  I can attest that it washes up well since we already had a spill on it that caused me to have to wash it out, unfortunately it has to hang to dry and Miss Maddy needs to learn some patience for that one lol.
