First let me start by saying, I have been looking for a new kitchen faucet for a while now. We have had all kinds of problems with ours from leaking to the top falling off and blasting water straight up to the ceiling. I just couldn’t really find a style locally that I really loved.Price Pfister was able to deliver though, while searching their site I instantly fell in love with the Ashfield Pull-down faucet and matching soap dispenser. It has a very simple and traditional look to it yet fits easily into modern kitchens.
The Pull down faucet with volume control is easy to manuever and works great for everything like high pressure rinsing of ketchup and syrup from your dishes to a gentle spray for washing your family pooch, at least the smaller ones haha which we did with Witley the night after we brought him home he needed a bath and I thought perfect chance to test out the faucet, it was sooooo nice and my kitchen did not end up soaked.
The faucet arrived while I was away at Brandcation but Lee couldnt wait for me to get home, the babies were napping and he started at replacing it as soon as it got there, he couldn’t wait to get rid of the old set. He said the hardest part was getting the old taps out. Before the babies were awake he had the whole thing done and mess cleaned up.
When I got home I couldn’t believe the difference it made to the overall look of the kitchen. I am absolutely in love with this faucet and am so glad Price Pfister gave me the chance to finally have a faucet I love.
I also like that it has the soap dispenser with it because we had one in the kitchen before and I was sure I couldn’t live without it. I loved having the convenience of soap right on hand to wash my hands after working in the kitchen with meat etc. We actually have dish soap in ours because I like using that to get the greasy meat stuff off my hands and it is easy just to pump a squirt or two into the sink if I ever need to wash stuff by hand.
The faucet is available to be installed in 2 or 4 hole configuration just by simply using or not using the deck plate that it comes with.

When we replaced our faucet a year ago, I looked at the pull down faucets and decided against them..the one I looked at did not have a volume control on the sprayer and the pull down part was actually much harder to pull down than I wanted. Next time we replace, I will take a look at these.
