Secret Santa Tags from JC Penny

JC Penny is one of my favorite stores to shop at all year long but it is my go to store at Christmas to ensure that I get just the right gift for everyone on my ever growing list.  This year jcpenny is making gift giving more fun for both the giver and the receiver with their Secret Santa Tags.

The Secret Santa Tags are super easy to use!  How do I know you ask, well I am so excited to be one of the chosen bloggers in the Mom Central Secret Santa Campaign. Not only did I get to use the tag but I also got to browse jcpenny’s large selection of gifts at jcp.com and pick one out and play Secret Santa for a fellow blogger.  They even sent a Secret Santa Tag to me so I could fully see how it worked and then send it back to attach to my gift for my secret recipient who I cannot tell you about yet but check back next week when I reveal what my gift was, who it was from and what I sent and to whom.

To use the tag it was super easy.  If you have a smartphone you download any QR code reader and simply scan the QR code on your Secret Santa Tag.  Then you enter in your mobile phone number and you will get a phone call from jcpenny where you can record, listen, re-record, listen and send your message.  Then you simply peel the back off the tag and stick it to your present.  Then when your receiver gets it they scan the QR code and can get the special message.

If you don’t have a smartphone no worries you can still use the Secret Santa Tag simply by calling 1-888-881-6577 and using the keypad enter the numbers located below your QR code (in the picture above the numbers would be 000003566).  Then you can record, listen to and approve your message it is that simple.

I really had fun doing this and cannot wait til next week when I get to share with you who my secret Santa was and who my gift recipient was.

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of jcpenney and received a jcpenney Secret Santa gift and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
