My kids may well be the worlds pickiest eaters when it comes to breakfast and lunch. Supper they eat what I cook because they don’t get a choice but the other meals seem to be a struggle. Just this week we decided that pancakes and waffles were the breakfast of champions and uncranky kids haha. Now if only our lunch issues were solved that easily right.
Well actually they were solved that easily too. We picked up a box of Smuckers Uncrustables peanut butter and strawberry jelly to give a try. The boys just throw them in their lunch when packing them and head off to school knowing they will be thawed out by the time lunch rolls around and they will be able to scarf them down no problem. the boys are in grade 6 & 7 so they pack their own lunches and man do they love not having to make sandwiches or getting me to cut up veggies ( I like this part too). So that solved the lunch issues with the older two but what about Maddisyn and Holden?
Well i am happy to say SUCCESS. I take the sandwich out in the morning when we get up and then by lunch it is thawed and ready to go and the two babies (they will always be my babies) will sit and eat their sandwiches with ZERO complaints and sometimes they even ask for more. Whats better for Maddy is that there is no crust, she hates the crust on bread so thinks this is the best that there is none,
Smuckers Uncrustables are available in different flavors and I do intend on buying other ones but we were just in the testing phase I did not want to spend a bunch of money that would go to waste. As I said we bought the peanut butter and strawberry jelly one but there is others. There is peanut butter and grape jelly, peanut butter and honey on wheat bread, peanut butter and grape jelly on wheat bread and last but not least peanut butter and strawberry jelly on wheat bread.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Smucker’s and received products necessary to facilitate my candid review. In addition, I received a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate.
