I am in the process of sharing three awesome products with you from Snazzy Baby. I shared with you my post on the Snazzy Baby Knee Pads and how much we absolutely adore them in our house. Now I want to share another Snazzy Baby product with you. I was going to do this all in one post but the posts got quite long and I did not want to overwhelm you with information so decided this was the best way to go.
The next product I am going to share with you is the Snazzy Baby Deluxe Travel Chair. This is the mother of all products that I wish I would have had years ago to be quite honest with you. It would have made my life so much easier and my lap or at the very least my hands emptier at some points when we have taken the kids out to eat.
\The Snazzy Baby Deluxe Travel Chair is an all purpose 4 in 1 travel seat. You can attach it to any chair to keep your little one safe and secure while out dining, you can attach it to you for holding your child on your lap and giving you use of your hands to eat or feed as necessary. You can use a portion of it for flying to keep your child secure in their airplane seats (cruising portion) and maybe my favorite feature is that you can use it in shopping carts for extra security because my little ones were always able to stand up out of the seat belts and I hated it so much.
We have not had a chance to use it in the shopping cart as of yet because the only time we went shopping and had the chance to use it I did forget it at home. Also I have not flown with Holden so I have no actual experience with that portion of use but I have tested it out on the chairs here at our house as well as at my mother in laws house when we were there for dinner last week. I also tested the lap portion out here in the house for review purposes.
According to the directions to use this on the shopping cart you put the chair on the cart, secure the one support belt around the slats of the shopping cart seat and fasten it tightly. Then you put your baby on the travel chair and secure the clips on the seat to fit your little one comfortably. It all sounds easy enough, I will try it and let you all know as soon as I do.
Using the seat as a highchair is easy too, I simply had to attach a belt around the back of the chair, put Holden on the travel chair, and secure the clips again then adjust to fit comfortably. It was a super easy fix to not wanting to carry a highchair with us but worrying about keeping him in his seat to eat his supper. I thought that he would protest it but he was really OK with me putting him in there and was quite happy to be eating at the table in a chair like a big boy.
To use it as a lap holder was much the same as the other processes, put the wide strap around me and then sit Holden down on my lap facing outwards, pull the front of the travel chair up and fasten the clips.
At first I will admit I was nervous about Holden sliding if we were at a restaurant with wooden or leather seats that are generally not good for little ones, but Snazzy Baby has thought of everything and they even have a non-slip surface which makes sure the base of the chair grips to firm surfaces and keeps your little one in one spot not slipping and sliding all over the place.
All in all this is very easy to use, awesome to take places because it comes attached to a small travel bag that you can sling over your shoulder but is also small enough to put into a diaper bag and because it is attached you never have to worry about losing the travel bag. The Deluxe Travel Chair is good for babies from about 5 months to 3 years, basically from the time your baby can sit up unsupported up to 37 pounds. To store you simply roll it up and tuck it back into the pouch , truly an ingenious product that is really designed with busy families in mind.
The Snazzy Baby My Baby’s Own Deluxe Travel Chair is available in two colors navy or red, both are very nice but I am partial to the navy, which we have, because then I don’t have to worry about food spills showing as much as I would on the red. The deluxe Travel Chair is priced at $34.99 USD and if you go ahead and look for travel highchairs that are hard plastic you would pay the same if not more and have a huge hassle when going places with it. I love this chair so much I am going to be ordering one for a friend who is expecting her first child but loves to travel and is concerned about all the stuff a baby comes with that you need to travel with.
I know I said I was going to share three products with you but true to my name I jabbered along and this post turned out quite long so I will break these down into separate posts and host the giveaway on it’s own post once all three posts are live by this evening. Comments are going to be closed on all posts except the giveaway one so no confusion will be had and everyone will enter in the same spot.
