Texas on tour is a high tech roadshow that promotes travel to Texas and allows would be visitors a chance to experience first hand the sights and sounds of the Lone Star State. It is a 5,400 sq ft interactive experience which will travel to family-friendly events and fairs in 9 different states around the United States. Texas on Tour features virtual reality technology, a 30-foot dome enclosed theater, green screen video and photography, interactive games, live music and more.
Texas on Tour’s multi-sensory attractions touch on the various activities that parents and kids can experience on a vacation in Texas. Consumers can take a virtual reality kayaking trip through the Texas waterways – from scenic rivers and lakes to Gulf Coast waters. They can also “picture themselves in Texas” in front of backdrops of famous attractions in the state and share them on Facebook. In addition, consumers have the opportunity to win prizes during a trivia challenge in the Discover Texas theater, and may enter a sweepstakes on-site or at http://bit.ly/wintxontour for a chance to win a trip for two to Texas. Live entertainment by unique Texas musicians will also be featured daily. Admission to the Texas on Tour exhibit is free and open to everyone and appropriate for all ages.
